Visa Information

Citizens of countries outside the Schengen Area might need a Visa. Make sure to have all the relevant information before traveling to Portugal:
• European Commission – Migration and Home Affairs – Visa policy
• Portuguese Ministry of Foreign Affairs – Where to lodge a short stay visa application

Should it be necessary to apply for a Visa, applicants can send an e-mail to the workshop Secretariat requesting a Letter of Acceptance. Applicants must be an author of an accepted paper (oral or poster) and provide their full name, date of birth and passport number (to be included in the Letter).

Please note that Visa arrangements must be handled by each participant on their own responsibility. Also, the Letter of Acceptance to be sent to applicants does not, in any way, oblige the SPI 2024 Organization to finance any expenses that participants will incur associated with travel, accommodation, registration and all remaining workshop attendance.
